#053: How to Prep for Holiday Season Engagement and Retention

Mmm pumpkin spice smell.

The holidays are almost here and you know what that means. It’s the happiest time of year for you and your family and friends – but maybe not so much for your gym. While other types of businesses are having their busiest season, for a few months at the end of the year gyms fall into the category of “out of sight, out of mind” along with patio furniture and swim floaties.

If you’re like the average gym, you experience less members in class, more membership holds or even cancellations, and very little quality leads. Low attendance and lower new member intake make for a damper on what should be a joyous time for all – even you.

To make sure you’re thriving this holiday season, we suggest using our tried and true Perceived Value Builder method. Using this method we teach in the Foundations Program, we can improve both your member engagement and lead flow to get have a solid end to the year.

Starting your prep NOW is a must for the slow holiday season slump.

Join us every Friday at 10 a.m. PT on The Network where we’ll be airing live. Be sure to stick around for the live Q&A session at the end of the show so we can answer any questions you have.
